Whole Home Consultation: 6 steps to a new home

Have you ever looked around your home and thought, “I really want a fresh new look, but I just don’t know where to start!” Or, maybe, you finally have the time, energy and finances to furnish your home exactly the way you dreamt when you first bought… but you need a little help getting it done. Either way, well, we get it! We’ve been there, as have many of our clients and customers. And we’ve helped them with our Whole Home Consultation.

Our Whole Home Consultation service spans every step of the process, from designing and planning to setting up everything. In fact, we’ve been lucky enough the past few years to help many homeowners change their space to fit their lives, and seeing the satisfaction and joy on their faces is priceless. One of the things we love about our job is that we get to help people make their houses into actual homes!

The best part? It only takes six steps.

Step 1: Meet

We’ll sit down with you to discuss your goals, vision, dreams, budget, and needs for your space. This will be a bit of a pick-your-brain meeting. The more information you can give us, the better we’ll be able to create a plan that’ll make your dream space a reality.

Step 2: Plan

Our team sits down to comb through our entire furniture catalogue, searching for those perfect pieces. Each suggestion will help achieve your rooms’ goals, whether that’s comfy and cozy, or functional and fancy.

Step 3: Accessorize

Once we have the furniture suggestions, we’ll pick out rugs and accessories that coordinate and complement the space. Oh, did we mention that our team includes Interior Designer, Christine DenOuden? She’ll be on hand to personally curate every item with her unique, experienced eye.

Step 4: Present

When our plan is complete, we’ll present it to you so you can pick what you like and let us know what you don’t. We’ll find new items for anything that’s not quite hitting the right notes for you.

Step 5: Order

Once we’ve finalized the plan and the pieces you want, our team will order everything. And, since big items notoriously don’t all arrive at the same time, we’ll store your order in Kleur Design’s warehouse until everything shows up. Then we’ll contact you to schedule a delivery date.

Step 6: Install

This is the big day! We deliver and install your order, transforming your whole house into a space that truly (and maybe, finally) feels like home. We’ll be on hand to “stage” everything exactly as you want it.

Pro tip: Plan a party for a day or two after, so you’ll have a moment to enjoy it all to yourself, then show it off to your friends.
